If you're graphics card doesn't support pixel shaders you can either try to turn that option off in the game, play a different game, or upgrade your graphics card.

You'll need to buy a new graphics card which supports *at least* pixel shader 1.1
That is a very old version. The latest is 3.0 and 4.0 is coming soon.

Go buy a new graphics card dude cause all the new games are gonna want pixel shading

upgrade or see if you can turn it off on the options menu if that doesnt work get a refund if you can
