I have a research project due, any ideals?

I have a college research paper due..It can be about anything, as long as it isnt sad or depressing! No illnesses or cures either....Any ideals?

I like FastEddie's response. But, when is it due? Do something that there's a lot of information about. Abortion, global warming,.. Nelson Mandela... is that guy still alive? no sad or depressing... hmm... increase in college attendance, the best decreases in crime cities and how we can learn from them, increased cancer awareness and the new remedies. The last parameters you gave are the hardest. Increase in women's studies, Girl Scout participation/ cookie sales are record high this year, the shuttle came back safely again, hybrid cars, children are still our future. I don't know!
