I have a case in South Carolina and its relatively simple but it's taking so long...........It seems I'm not a priority since I'm getting small amounts rather than nothing. Any advice?

All child support enforcement agencies reguardless of state are way overworked. So my suggestion is to call and checkup on the progress every couple of weeks if that gets no result ask for the supervisor and inform them of what isnt happening.

Sometimes guys move from job to job to evade paying, and the wage database and child support database take time to catch up to one another. The best thing is to talk to someone in Child Support Enforcement. Is your state's child support all centralized, like in a Family Support Registry? If so, check for your case number on your last check stub and call with that information. Ask if there is anything you can do to get it more regularly or to increase the amount. If you have any information that could help them, give it to them. It does grind slowly no matter what state you are in-there are a lot of dads and moms who are non-custodial parents out there.

my case in wisconsin took 4 years and my ex husband still managed to get out of paying his arrears. he has enough money and all the documentation proved he owed it. i have no idea how he got out of it.
