i would say no. you cannot possibly compare the plight of overwieght people to that of a minority.one cannot help race. MOST fat people are fat because of their own habits. Granted, our fastfood/desk job society makes it much easier to be fat, but for most it is preventable. In addition, people were lynched and other sinmister acts commited to them over race. I doubt peopel are gather fat people to lynch them or burn burgers on thir lawns. You won't find large organizations dedicated to hating fat people. You won't find people denied the right to vote and a host of other civil righst violations simply from being fat. not eve nclose to beiung a valid comparison no mattre how wrong fat discrimination is

Yes, it is!!! I am so glad that someone decided to bring this up. This is not a new subject at all. People who are overweight and underweight have been made fun of for many years now. Now is the time that it is coming to the light. People need to stop putting others down in this area.
