life is the period between birth and death...nothing before and nothing after

i think there is life after death. (i'm not so sure about life before birth) but i can answer the former.
i know there's a heaven and i know there's a hell. and i believe there's only one way to get to heaven (or the life after death) and that's through belief and acceptance in Jesus Christ as your personal Savior. (and the only way to get to hell is to not.)
you don't have to do any penance, you don't have to confess to any priest, or pray at any certain time and once you've asked Christ to forgive your sins (because there has to be a true repentance) and come into your life, HE WON'T LEAVE! (*smiles) he can't leave and he doesn't want to leave, he loves you, he loves you so much he died for you, took on every bad thing you or i have ever done or even thought and wiped them clean with his own blood. then he rose from his grave and is now just waiting with everything he's got for you to come to him.

Well, I'll tell you.....I am a Hypnotherapist, and almost all of my Cleints have remembered past lives in sessions, as well as life in utero...So, there must be something to it!
So, to specifically answer your question, I think it is similar to life. When you were in grade school, you could not imagine, jr. High....In Jr. High, you could not imagine High School, let alone college! Each time you graduated and discovered a new life! So, my opinion is that it is similar to this, when we die, there will be something else, but because we aren't there yet, we have no way to imagine or understand it. So, enjoy what you have now, so when you "graduate" to the next level, you will have fond memories and can live in the next level free and clear of regrets form this level!

everyone is born headed to a fiery and horribly agonizing existence in Hell (in the after life). The only people who ever escape this certain destiny is those who hear and obey Jesus Christ and His Gospel. Those who, during this lifetime, obey Him and repent and live for Him will go to Heaven (a place of incredible happiness and perfect peace in God's presence).
Those who don't ever obey Jesus' Gospel during this life will end up in Hell forever.
There was no life for you before your birth here on this planet. You existed only in God's foreknowledge at that point (He knew before you were born who you would be, and everything about your life).

Nobody knows for sure. That is the purpose of religion in this world. It helps us cope with the fear of not knowing. It brings people comfort that atheists will never have.

Every one has a soul, when you die your soul leaves your body, if you are a christian , if you have accepted Christ as your Savior your soul will go to Heaven. If not your soul will go to the bottomless pit of fire and brimstone. On judgement day your body will rise from the grave rebond with your soul, and chang form to be more spiritual for heaven. then you will await judgement......
