when i was pregnant for the first time i gave up the drug speed as my child was more important to me, although i continued to smoke cannibis and never lied about using to anyone. when my daughter was born and taken i was told to stop smoking pot or i would never get her back, and i gave up, yet other people get on the methadone program. i thought they get off the drugs into the program and weened off the methadone so they are non relient on any drug, yet there are people who have been on the program for more than 3 years and on a dose 3 times stronger than they started with and walking around people like my children looking like the living dead, yet they are helping themselves,HOW? should these people not also have there children taken and given the altermatim so many cannibis users have? these people expose there children to the clinics which are less than sanitary for people and miss out as their parents would rather spend money on more drugs as the methadone doesnt affect them anymo

methadone doesnt get you high, it just stops you from getting sick. besides, you just stated that you used drugs while pregnant- of course they took your babyaway.

I agree, and as an ex-meth addict myself(10yrs) I know that they don't actually NEED methadone.........they just want it. That getting sick from stopping is a load of crap, I quit cold turkey and never looked back. Unfortunately pot stays in your system longer then meth so all they gotta do(even while pregnant) is stop for about 4 or 5 days before going to the doctor and it wont show on a piss test. Even though i agree with smoking cannabis, I don't agree with smoking it while pregnant

You propose basically around em up and sterilize them? NO that must be incorrect. it is their life, their selections. Their family participants and acquaintances can direct them to help in the event that they for sure choose it, yet I draw the line on the government sterilizing those with out their consent. it is terrible.
