Well air out your pointe shoes after every time you work in them. Allow them to dry on a 360 degree radius, use a breathable bag. You don't want your shoes to become moldy by putting damp shoes into a closed bag. Also if you are working more than 2 hours in them at a time, switch shoes (that means you should have 2 working pairs at a time), that way you aren't breaking down the materials in the box as quickly and you are allowing it to "harden" again. You should also allow one pair to dry for at least 36 hours before you use them again.

As for your feet, always keep your toenails trimmed. Use a breathable "paper" tape if you need to tape your toes to avoid blisters. You can soak in epsom salts if you begin getting cramps in your arches. Always use cream when you get out of the shower. This is a good time to massage your arches...this is just a feel good thing.

well u need to air out ur pointe shoes in a mesh bag after using them. (this helps the sweat not ruin them) also soak ur feet after a day of pointe work. theres also lots of things to protect your feet like lambs wool, gel pads, ouch pouches, bandages, top tape, and some people even use cotton.
