Have you ever watched the show "Austin City Limits"? I think it comes on PBS, but it's all live country singing in Austin, TX.

Well the cool thing about Austin is you can always catch a live band, not necessarily a good one, but there is live music all night long every night, you just gotta go to the right places. you have to think about all of the awesome people that were discovered in Austin (willie Nelson, Janis Joplin, SRV, Robert earl keen....many many more...), that's gotta show something for the city. I think the music scene in Austin might be going slightly down hill, but yes I still consider it the live music capital of the world.

I live here, too, and I don't even know. The Live Music Capital of the WORLD? Hmmm. Somehow...I don't think so. Yes, lots of live music venues, SXSW. And my brother used to play in a band here. But somehow it sounds like a Chamber of Commerce/GSD&M slogan to me!

All the Austin City Limits shows i've seen were reruns!

Ananda (excitement): it relatively is the super-wakeful state. The Vedic texts describe it as Sat-Chit-Ananda (rather felt excitement). it relatively is the undying and spaceless transcendental state it is variously usual as comfortable alertness, larger know-how, large happiness, substantial peace, chic elation, tranquility, serenity, ecstacy or bliss based on the point of adventure. The Jnaana center is related with this state. Superconscious suggestions [2] is known via fact the source of many of the inspired writing and conversing. some present day western musicians wrote that music is a greater physically powerful revelation than understanding and philosophy. some historical Hindu texts wrote that music transcends all barriers of language and races. that's usual to a lot of human beings that infants, animals or perhaps snakes appreciate listening to hint. Poets defined that delicate music strikes the chord interior like a moon beam that tranquillizes the suggestions, and acts like an orison. present day para- psychology knows that vegetation provide greater effective yields if delicate music is performed in the fields frequently. Katha Upanisad defined the relationship between Chitta, senses, and experience products like money and excitement (a million.3.10): "Indriya (senses, semen) gets triumph over via Artha (money, pleasures). larger than Artha is Manas, and better than Manas is Buddhi. larger (than various those) is the state of bliss related with soul"
