There are many prophets of doom out there. St. Malachi, Nostradamus, the Mayan calender. The truth is, that we may be looking at the end of an age. With global warming now a well understood reality and with our unscrupulous CO2 emissions continuing unabated, we're looking at some hard times. With oil production now past its peak, oil being used for many more things than merely fueling our cars, industry as we know it will collapse abruptly. Buckle your seatbelts. The world may not end, but is about to change very drastically.

Nobody knows for sure, it might be due to global warming that melts the ice and floods the lands, that might take 100s of years, there might be a virus that might infect all living things. But if you speak about the end of the world, it will happen. Its a part of the solar circle. The sun is a star(We all know that) and like all stars the sun will explode one day when its fuel runs out. Thats only after billions of years.. So you din have to worry about that.

I answered this question because you got a real cool name-- monalisa. The world you're refering to does not come to an end because you live in the best country in the world. If you are over 50 the world will come to an end in thirty-some years. If you are under 50, the world will come to an end when you die. yes the world we know comes to an end many many years in the future; but not in your lifetime. That is a dumb question, but that's ok with me.

That really depends on what you mean by end. When the earth is completely destroyed or an end to the world as we currently know it. Our planet will eventually be engulfed by the son and the end of the world as we know it could came at any time in an infinite amount of ways.

On a personal level, when tragedy strikes, world does come to an end. Think of all the people that suffer arround the world... For them world doesn't make any sense anymore. World has ended already.

When the sun burns out or a big enough piece of space material (like meteor) hits the earth. Our world, western civilization ruling the world with thy threat of nuclear devices) will end sooner than you would like to think. Why do you think there is so much focus on North Korea and their missile testing. They hate us.

well the war that is going on now is the (Holy War) read Revelation in the bible it speaks of it....so the end of the world has already begun it will be a slow and hard time to be in.....just get right with the Lord.....Jerusalem will lose and the other country will win and take over then they will start rebuilding the temple then the false profit will go in and say he is god and so.....read revelation

When God says so. It will be after the the Second Coming of Jesus Christ, and after the Millenium (His thousand-year millenial kingdom on the earth), but before the Last Day ( Judgement Day), and before Time ends and Eternity begins.
Only God knows the hour and the day of Jesus' return, tho'.
