Well, it seems to me that most of The Killers' Hot Fuss is about broken relationships. And Patrick Park just sounds so damn *sad*. Um, the fourth movement from Berlioz's Symphonie Fantastique is incredibly sad. The entire album Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders from Mars is about the end of the world - depressing enough?

Oh. Find musicals that end in tragedy. Download the last songs. They're usually tearjerkers.

Do you listen to classical music?

Samuel Barber’s “Adagio For Strings” is the most hauntingly beautiful, yet very depressing song. If you’ve seen the movie Platoon or The Elephant Man, then you have heard “Adagio For Strings.”
