We all have things we like to do in our spare time off from the everyday grind of the world. I myself like to build models and fish as often as i can. Work can be a stress filled place to be, and being able to escape to your own little world is OK from time to time just as long as it is not taking away from your time together. I myself build metal cars and airplanes, also ship building is a good way to pass the time. But if he is doing this for more than 8 hours in a day then you may need to talk to him about spending more time with you.

Too bad you refer to him as a saddo, hope he isn't too sensitive because If I were him I would wonder about your mocking my hobbie.

Of course it's good he has a hobby- how many women are married and their husbands go to bars or "out" with out them and then they wonder what their husbands are doing- YOUR'S IS IN THE ROOM MAKING AERO PLANES, leave well enough alone- be glad he has a safe home hobbie and isn't out.

Now if he pays more attention to the hobbie than you, the family or kids then I must ask if he was like this before you married him or if it's something recent... talk to him about his hobbie show some interest or concern as applicable.

Good luck-

Its a bit sad but if he enjoys it who cares. I like playing stupid computer games and going on this site - both of which are a bit sad really.

Seems to me you're saying he'd be more manly if he tipped out on you from time to time.
