I learned some time ago that the above Alice Sebold novel is to be made into a film. Any sign of a release date? Knowing my luck, it's probably been and gone, and I've therefore missed it.

2007, though that could change as they haven't started production yet. I liked that book too. The movie is rumored to have Dakota Fanning in it. Should be good. :)

It's still in pre-production. The IMDB currently has a 2007 release year for the film, but that could change.

It's in 2007. Dakota Faning might be Susie the main actress! She is a great Actress

I loved the book. I think that Peter Jackson (King Kong, LOTR) is set to direct it.
