16, and I think I, personally, wouldn't have been able to understand it in all its complexity at a younger age.

I've yet to read it, but I recently watched the movie with Audrey Hepburn. It was a little slow but I finally got into it and enjoyed it. Hepburn's character, Natasha, is extremely fickle in the film. I plan on reading the novel to compare the two.

I'm reading it now. I read it first in graduate school, I was probably 22-ish. I love Anna Karenina but for some reason it's been really hard to get into WandP this time around. I'm in my mid30s now.

Russian aristocrats dealing with the outcomes of warfare on their lives, in reality. certain, it is complicated as Tolstoy's language is amazingly archaic. It relies upon what you seem for in a singular to even if that is "truly worth" interpreting. for my section, having study it i does no longer re-study it. notwithstanding, I re-study Anthony Powell's 12 volume Dance to the track of Time over and once extra. probably longer than W&P and nonetheless about aristos and warfare.
