My worst job was at a drug treatment center where 125 hormonal children in adult bodies created perpetual chaos. The place was run by a micro-manager who had a bad case of attention-deficit disorder. He would issue a directive on Monday and on Tuesday he'd deny that he had given the order. Soon after I was hired, I discovered a huge cache of harmless items in a locked basement room that the staff had "confiscated." There were pajamas, and other items of clothing. I returned the booty to the clients. I was fired soon thereafter by the owner who wanted to run the facility like a prison.

I've discovered that when one is ejected from one situation, a better opportunity will soon appear.

When I was nineteen in 1989, I worked at a filthy pizza place in an area known for hookers. A old ceiling fan heavy enough to kill a person crashed on the floor in front of me on my first day. My manager, who was a racist and scary looking person, dropped the pizza dough on the very dirty floor and threw it back in the pan. A street person waved a big knife at me. Some "punk" guy wearing only black breifs and combat boots came in and played the war video game with his legs apart and his crotch pushed up to the machine the whole time. I'm not making any of this up. Every night, I had to shower to try to try to get rid of the stench of rancid pepperoni. Although it was very hard for people my age to find jobs, I didn't stay very long. I think the health department shut it down not so long after I quit.

when I was a teenager I worked at a toy store. it sucked during xmas time when I had to wrap stuff and the boss kept yelling at me to wrap faster. Our store was next door to burger king so kids would eat too much then come in and puke on our carpet..lovely eh? Or the kids would literally be climbing the walls and if you said anything to the parents they'd go off on you for calling them a bad parent. The other worst job I ever had was working for Big Lots.. They pay slave wages, make you slave away.. and the managment was so abusive I'd be out in the car crying so hard that I had to call the store from the car and tell this jerk that he was so abusive that I was crying too hard to come back into work. maybe it's time to start looking at your options.. there are always other places to go.

i work in a travel agency and i hate my job i hate talking with stupid people and their stupid questions..
