Movies definatly, and try to see one that she wants... maybe see if she'll hold your hand :) The first date dosn't need a coffee shop break to talk, it might be a little unconfortable. Just talk while walking home, or to the car. Try to keep a good convo going. But don't dominate it too much. Just remember to open doors. For most, its a must to see if the man is a gentlemen or not.
congrats on getting the date!
I hope it goes well for you.

Go somewhere nice. Walk on the beach at night, go to a movie, eat at a restaurant. Whatever you think will be nice and just try to enjoy each others company. Not to difficult. Be yourself and treat her as you would normally treat her. As a friend. Don't try anything. Just have fun.

Do something inexpensive and from the heart. Don't take her to the movies like everyone else does. Make it special and unique...a surprise! Like buy her favorite dinner (to go) and head to the park to watch the sunset and stargaze. Or you could make her dinner and rent a movie. Or do something crazy and fun!

ideas:
1) you can do the typical dinner and a movie
2) go to an amusement park or fair
3) depending where you are you could go trail riding on horseback
4) walk arround a park
i have more ideas but hey, good enough for now lol

take them to a place where you'll have the opportunity to have conversation. If you get blocked out by a movie or something else, you may not get to know the person well enough to get a second date.

i've always thought picnics were romantic. it's cheap yet it shows effort, which will always be appreciated. it's especially romantic when the food was self-made. hope this helps!
