I am 13 and I got my period in April. I haven't had it since then. I am 5'6 and 105 lbs. Do I need to go to the doctor or am I just fine?

You're fine. For the first year, since your period is still regulating, you may miss a few months (or even most of them). It's nothing to worry about.

If you have not had sex ever you are probably fine. If you have had sex go to the doctor. Girls periods can be really sporadic in the beginning. If you have any other problems like pain in your pelvis or discharge see the doctor. If you have ever had sex in your life see the doctor. If not wait a while.

Don't be bothered you are absolutely fine and these are normal symptoms which accures at the first time you are too young to get periods and be patent it will be regular after some time.
It happens with every lady so don't be silly.

When you first get your period it is not unusual for it to be irregular. Anything from activity levels to stress levels can throw it off. If you haven't been having sex I would say it is probably normal, but if you are concerned talk to your doctor.

wow you are lucky. i got mine at age 9. as long as you don't think you might be pregnant, i'd wait about 4 more months to see if the hormones straighten themselves out. if not, then see a doctor.

You are just getting started..I hope you are not sexually active at this age..You might mention this to your Mom but don't panic your periods will become more regular as you get older...

Me too.
In the early years of getting periods, it is random, and could be a couple months before happening again, it is okay! As you get older, it will be monthly, and routine.
Aren't they a bother?
