Its posible to become addicted to anything in my opinion: Shopping, drugs, gambling, sex, overeating ect.. You may want to consider what is lacking in your life that makes you want to shop constanly,. Find another hobby, replace shopping with something that makes you feel good and occupies your time like exercise or charity work.

Of course. There are shopping addicts so it stands to reason that there are online shopping addicts. It is pretty much the same thing only the process is different. Instead of going to the store, you head to the computer. (Besides Amazon can be a little addicting :-)

Yes, anything can become habit forming and it can metaphorically "cripple" you, I was addicted to Ebay and was spending thousands of dollars a month and endless hours just to get high bid. When my computer crashed I almost had an emotional breakdown and knew it was time to go for help.

Yup, my father is addicted to Ebay. He buys and sells, i think it's the thought of buying something cheap and reselling for more money that gets them addicted to it.
