The meaning of life is peace of mind. That is the main ingredient for happiness. Don't worry over problems. Solve them if you can but don't worry because worrying gets you nowhere except an early grave. Learn from your bad experiences. Don't agonize over them. Remember and embrace the good experiences. Keep a positive outlook always. Even in bad times. If you have a negative attitude then even the good stuff seems crappy. It's a frame of mind and it makes all the difference. If it brightens your day and it's not a bad thing then you are finding the meaning of life.

i don't care what you do with your life or your beliefs, but consider "Pascals Wager". Pascal could not decide whether life was a test designed by God to earn eternal life in heaven or hell, or whether out of the randomness of the cosmos humanity emerged as advanced bacteria. Even if its only a small possibility that God put you here with His loving hand and is watching over you, the stakes are literally infinity, while the reward for living an evil life is pleasure that, albeit being sweet, pales in comparison with infinity. So Pascal decided to be nice, and its pretty logical that even if you are an atheist, you should be nice too. Also nice people are cool.

There is no meaning of life. You can try as you may to pin point one particular reason, then life rolls over and you are right back at the beginning. Say you think it's love, you fall in love but unfortunately it fail right after you realized it wasn't the meaning. Money, same thing. Power, ditto. Soon as you achieve something you want more. That can't be the meaning of life, I already got that! Life just scratches a bit, and rolls over on you and you are back at the beginning. There is no meaning, just be happy to be.

easy. you make life meaningful...that's right you ae the meaning maker. two people can have very similar situations, but one can be happy and the other miserable. why? because they each took a situation and interpreted in such a way as to be happy or miserable.
how many handicapped people are happy and say they are lucky and how many spoiled rotten kids and rich people do you hear complaining and have all kinds of problems. it;s how you choice to interpret the situation that give the situation an menaing. the goes with life.....so now that everyone knows the answer, please stop asking the question...if you see this question again just refer them to this answer or cut and paste it...thnks everone tht will be all...g'nite

Two conclusions that i have come up with:
Life has no meaning and
Life has a million meanings.
It's an astonomical certainty that our sun will supernova and turn the earth into a burnt crisp. All our individual accomplishments will be lost in a thousand years. Your bones and those of you children will be turned to dust....even if, for some reason, your bones are fossilized.
The temporary pleasures you get in life are temporary, and there are a million of them... We live to decrease pain and increase pleasure, all else is lost to oblivion.

you can debate this all day... all i know is that there is a god who is good. there are too many wonderful things in this world for there to be no god and for us to be here for no reason. no matter how religous someone is, this question always comes up. i think it is like many other questions and will remain a mystery no matter how much someone tries to disect the bible

This question is absurd, everyone whom is dazzled and shocked about life asks this question.
Please , I ask you nicely fellow questionier, try avoiding asking questions such as this.
It is , so to speak, exactly like asking
" Why are there so many colours in life?"

Yeah, what is? It is the universe becoming aware of itself. It's all too much. Amazing. "Show me that I'm everywhere, and get me home for tea."

life is love. its struggle. its forgiveness and mistakes. it is mysterious. it is not only failure but also success. life is precious for those who use in a good manner and it is valueless for who are hopeless and fear to struggle.
life is revenge and avenge. life is wonderful, in conclusion.
