It's great therapy to watch and nuture what God has blessed us with on this earth. I can work in my yard and forget all of the trials and tribulations of everyday life ..... and after all the digging, weeding and watering, just to sit back and enjoy all the beauties of nature is very gratifying to me. I personally think that we take this life for granted with all the hustle and bustle of everyday life and to just "TAKE TIME TO SMELL THE ROSES" is very rewarding for me!

I garden because I love it. Can't wait for summer after 8 months of winter, I have flowers an vegetables. Flowers because they are beautiful and the bees need them. Vegetables because they are really fresh and have ti insecticides or herbicides on themExcellent exercise, relaxing and peaceful..Even digging dandelions and trimming shubbery is fulfilling. Beside I fill my frezer with healthy freezer with healthy fresh vegetables for winter use. If you looked at snow for 8 months of the year you would love to garden, too.

Well it gets me outside into nature, not mention you get to witness the miracle of life. just think about it, from one small acorn comes a mighty oak. Plus the beauty of nature can't be beat, you get to look at the wonder of flowers(the colors in nature never clash) watch the never ending toil of the bees and the ants. and it also teaches you about the cycle of life and death, you can't have one with-out the other.
This is why I garden.

It is gratifying to bring forth life from a seed! To watch the plants grow, and spawn seeds of their own. Watching the season change, while one plant dies, the other thrives.
That may be a morbid view of gardening, but such things do reveal just how fleeting life actually is.

It is the provider in all of us. The need to care for something and nourish it. The beauty of nature. The satisfaction that comes from positive energy.

I like to Garden, I find it is enjoyable to watch things grow, be able to tend to needs , water and weed .
I find it is like parenting, but much easy er.
I have flowers and veggies,
Veggies, I water, and some pruning, some weeding , and I get results, with little work , it is rewarding to see something grow by your efforts, as a parent it is rewarding to see my kids Grow
and exceed my abilities,

I JUST LIKE TO HAVE A NICE YARD. ALL THAT STUFF ABOUT BRINGING FORTH LIFE IS OK BUT IT'S A BUNCH OF CRAP TO ME. IT'S GRATIFYING TO SEE THINGS GROW AFTER THE HARD WORK BUT IF NOTHING GREW WORTH A CRAP I SERIOUSLY DOUBT MANY PEOPLE WOULD BE OUT IN THE HEAT BREAKING THEIR BUTTS TO DO IT, ESPECIALLY ME! FOR ME, IT REALLY FEELS GOOD TO GO OUT AND SIT ON MY DECK AND ENJOY MY FLOWERS AND LAWN COMPARED TO HAVING A PHOTO OF IT IN JEFF FOXWORTHY'S 'YARD OF THE WEEK.'
AND AFTER EATING STORE BOUGHT VEGIES ALL WINTER I WOULD GIVE TEN DOLLARS FOR JUST ONE GOOD TOMATO!

i garden for the hope and the strength. plants have to survive wind, rain, hail, snow, heat, cold, weeds, insects, humans...to bud, flower, seed.
