wht do i need to do if my computer is frozen or it takes forever to get into somethings?

I tend to agree with Brian and Warrior but there are more things to consider. SBC dial up or DSL? Could be your firewall (if using Windows only) could not be set right for some areas. A more detailed listing of what you have for hardware/software would be helpful.

Either you tweak it with some best tweaker like System Mechanic or you format the windows... but the best part would be to use System Mechanic, Ad-Aware and Spybot...these all have a special art of making your computer spped up apart of their being some security tools. Believe it. God bless you !

your proabably using WAY to much RAM. Close out any uneccesary programs (even ones in your system tray, on the lower right part of the screen in Windows), and maybe get more RAM.
