My stepfather kicked me out of the house while I was undergoing chemotherapy for bone cancer!

I had cancer 32 years ago, so all is well now. I was given an ultimatum; either I went or he did. Since my mom couldn't support the family without him, I left. Thank God I have some wondeful sisters!

yes, my step father kicked me out of the house so many times for stupid reasons like giving my dog a bath and my mom never did anything about it. she finally divorced him a year ago and she regrets letting him treat my brother and I the way he did

I am blessed to have an incredible step-father. He treated (and continues to treat me) much better than my birth-father. My step-father is the father in my heart and will be so until the day I die.
I do not think it matters if a person is a step or birth parent, some people are just better more caring parents than others.

Why did your mother allow her husband to kick her sick child out of the house?? That's crazy. I would never put a man over my own children. I don't understand women that do that.

And yes...my ex-stepmother was mean to my sisters and me when we were little.

My stepmother was a kind person, who agreed with my mom that she wanted my mom to have custody of us, (despite the fact that my dad wanted to take it from her).

You poor thing, what a jerk! Why does your mom put up with him. Do you have somewhere to stay?
