I think most people appreciate recognition for the efforts they put out. How else are we to judge if we're on the right track if we don't get feedback..both good and bad.

There's several references to it's origin..like pre-girl scouts called Brownies. I lean towards the explanation that always kissing someone b_tt could lead to brown-nosing which gained you brownie points :)

Brownie points are the very essence of life. Without them, daily living as we know it would cease to exist...... An overwhelming thought to ponder over.
