On the outside, I'd not change a single thing. In hindsight, everything that happened.. every single person that I connected with.. was important to my overall development. However, if I could do it all again knowing what I know.. I would certainly drop all the inner judgements about my circumstances, be happier about going with the natural flow and unfoldment of my life, and focus on counting the numerous blessings all around me that I missed the first time.

Not care nearly as much on my way through school. I would throw a brick through the other guys window, hoot and scrap more, you know... I would take it out and chop it up.
I would get myself into the gifted program early on. More pranks. There would always be this 'one more shennanigan and you are back to normal classes' thing going on.
I was always scared to just be a kid when I was a kid. I tried to be far too mature. One can be intelligent and still love life. MY fear of social situations os what kept me out any gifted programs. The teachers thought I had a social anxiety disorder. Spontaneity would have made my early life so much more fun and WAY less stressful. I'm not talking about getting into serious trouble, just being playful and not so uptight.
And, since you put in the stipulation that we would remember everything we already know, this would be a worthwhile plan. It wouldbe so much more to me than if I had lived that way the first time. Of course, if go horribly wrong; Chaos Theory and such.

It's hard for me to choose to do anything differently, because if I lived my life differently, I wouldn't be how I am today, and I rather like where I am today.
As far as on a broader scale of historical events, I think I might have set fire to the roof of one or both of the Twin Towers the morning of 9/11 before the planes crashed--the buildings would have been evacuated and so many lives would have been saved.

If I could live my life over again I would do the same things, only I would like to get them done sooner so I can move forward from those experiences and confront the next problem.

Nothing. I don't believe in destiny, but what if I changed something and suddenly I don't have kids or I'm not married to my wife. I like it just the way it is, and although I have done my share of stupid/wrong/unwise things, I learned from them. They made me who I am today.
As an example, I was scheduled to graduate from college in Ded 1992. I would then go to the Infantry Officer Basic Course at Ft. Benning. Instead, I drank my way through that last semester and didn't graduate. The next semester, I met my wife.

I would have been sooooooo much more careful about money. Yes yes I know money isn't the most important thing on earth but honey you can't live without it. Period. I would have invested my money and bought my own home (renting will never make you wealthy) and I would not have problems sleeping of how I am going to live when I retire. They should teach you this in high school. It is that important.

I think I would have done my whole puberty thing different. I would have focused more on school and less on partying. It's not that I regret it because that whole period is what makes me who I am today.. but I would have gone to college earlier..and not have to start things all over again when I was 23. I didn't get my AA degree until I was 42.. let me tell you I cried.. I got highest honors.. Got to wear a gold tassel and a gold stole and my phi theta kappa pin. I just think it's never to late to follow your dreams.

I would have saved up more money and invest it more wisely. I would not spend all the money I've spend for clothes, because it didn't help me get up in the world. Now that I've reached retirement age, I need a little nest egg saved up to get me past these coming years. Hope others learn this lesson at an early age of 25.

When I was twenty, I was involved in a traffic accident. The other driver died. If I could do it over again, I would have taken a different route to work that day.
