Before I found out about the class action lawsuit, I was hospitalized for complications that may have been as a result of taking this drug years earlier before I had medical insurance which caused me to file bankruptcy. Will bankruptcy seized my award or will I be able to keep the award especially if the company may have been responsible in causing me to file bankruptcy couple years earlier.

You need to consult a local bankruptcy attorney. Although bankruptcy is a federal law, most of the laws regarding what property you can keep are determined by state law. Unless somebody answering this question happens to be a bankruptcy attorney from your state, the answers you get here would be worthless.

Is the bankruptcy discharged?

If it is not, then you should talk with your attorney. Even though you are in a class action, they are still your attorney, you are paying them fees, and you should feel comfortable to call them and ask them about this issue.
