I recently got pushed really hard into cement and i did something to my rotator cuff in my left shoulder. It wasnt broken but i had to go to the hospital and wear a sling for 2 weeks. It doesn't hurt anymore but I'm finding it harder and harder to control my fingers and my entire arm is numb.. especially the fingers. I'm kind of worried as it seems to be getting worse. Is it the nerves just repairing and will it get better or should i get this checked out?

Sounds like you should call your doc. Also, while one wears a sling for that long, you can lose arm movement. Maybe, WITH THE DOCS APPROVAL get to do some stretches with your arm.

I was not yelling just making sure you understand about asking the doc.

Thanks, Good Luck!

You should get it checked out. It could be anything from a reinjury to cardiac related issues. I would go to the ER if I were you, and maybe try to wear the sling on the way. And have someone take you, don't drive yourself.

Get it check out now! A friend of mine had a similar injury and had to wait because of her medical plan now she has a permanent injury that could have been prevented and she gotten appropriate care at the right time.

def see a neurologist, but its just your nerves healing. many many times Ive injured myself, and been thru phys therapy. which you should do too prevents whats called a shortening of the nerve
really is keeping yourself flexible and to work thru your total ranges of motion

You need to go to a orthopedic doctor, which is a bone doctor, you could have a rotar cuff.

You should go back to the doctor and get an MRI....becuz something else might have gone wrong that they can't see on normal x-rays.
