I believe that some babies are born with evil inside of them..
They grow up without a soul and don't care about anything or anybody..They could kill a animal or a person and they don't see anything wrong with it..Have you hear of the bad seed,That is a true story and this girl was killing kids to get something they had and she wanted it..They have what we would call a dark hole,no soul and these kind of person need to be lock up for ever..I really believe that there is good and evil and a heaven and hell..Good and evil are always fighting and evil whats to take over, and we won't let him..Yes some of the environment are at cause,But not all of it..They have done research on souless person and they are born this way and there has been more than 1..HAVE A NICE
EVENING...

Yes to your question. The environment has a great deal to do with how you are influenced to be as a child. But children are very receptive, they are like sponges, soaking up all they see around them.Whether they know what it means or not, they sometimes carry the bewildering parts with them through life until a logical explanation finally is formed. I believe that good and bad can be viewed through many lights,a sort of perspective for some. The greatest form is decision and judgment. It is a choice to make the right or wrong move, and it is a person's perspective on what's right and whats wrong. But in order to have complete inner peace and spiritual harmony just with your mere existence alone, you need good and evil. It creates a equivalent energy,in other terms, its what makes the world go around!

yes it does at least the concept of it exists. nothing can define good and/or bad as the definition is dynamic and means different things in different places and to different people. the environment plays a huge role in shaping a person, i agree with you on that totally. the environment is not wholly good and neither is it absolute evil, therefore we all become an embodiment of good and bad.
some have more of bad than good and when compared to the people in the same environment where he came from, he is bad. but if you compare this 'bad guy' with another environment where life may be tougher and poverty is rampant, then he may no longer be so bad; he becomes average.
so you see, good and bad does exist in our minds as concepts that help us label people, but a straight out definition can never be found or structured.

Yes, good and bad do exist. The sheer understanding of the concept of right and wrong emphasises this.
You are right that all men are born the same, and they can become good or bad. However, though the environment plays a key role in our understanding of what is good and what is bad, it is the actions of choice of each person that portray the goodness and badness.

Well, I've seen good art and bad art, had good food and bad food.. so yes, they exist.
But seriously, I know you are really referring to "good" and "evil". There are goods that are absolute, and there is evil that is absolute.
In many cases they are clear... in fact I believe children do know good from evil. I believe people of all cultures and education would agee on many universal "good" and "evil" acts. For example, murdering your brother for your own gain is clearly evil. Giving water to a thristy person is clearly good.
But sometimes the environment / teachings / religious beliefs / political doctrine can tell us red is green and green is red. And we can accept it, because we want to. But.. I do feel deep in the hearts of people who perform evil in the name of good, know that they are doing wrong.

The concepts of good and bad exist, but the variables change as society changes. What was deemed good one hundred years ago is now deemed bad. What was bad is now deemed good. One can only surmise that the concept of good and bad changes as society does.

an act is either good or
bad or
more good than bad or
more bad than good or
more good than bad to one group of people or
more bad than good to the same group of people or
good at one time but
bad at another time.
Sometimes,
an act is good or bad if it accompanies another act that might be good or bad.
Maybe some bad acts combine to become a good act or
may be some good acts combine to become one big bad act.
be kind and helpful you will be accused of being soft.
impose cruel rules show some tantrums and you achieve results beyond targets.
depends!

Some cannot be good at any time.
Some are good at some times
Some are good always
Always good are the true good ones.
By birth we are neutral (pure) - and the natures are acquired. Circumstances plays key role in nurturing our characters.

Yes: it's described in many colorful terms, according to social culture. But one thing is resonately clear with them all: Good and Bad co-exist, but are locked in eternal strife.
