my friend is very self conscious about miniscule whitish hairs above her lip and a bit right below her lip. they aren't noticable unless you are unnaturally close to her face. she said she can see a few darker hairs. (she has brown hair) anyways, is this common in most/all women and is there a way to rid of it so that it will not come back? i really wanna help her.

It's fairly common there's electrolisis and some things like nair that you can put on it. Same goes with your legs too. Excess hair is something everyone is self conscious about.

First of all, I'm a guy and I can tell you that most girls and women have some amount of facial hair...even tiny hairs on the breasts and nipples...and they're no big deal and not a turnoff.
We homo sapiens are mammals and mammals have hair all over the body.

"If you're a girl and you're worried about hairs on your upper lip, step back from the mirror and you may see that the hair everyone really sees is probably not as bad as you think."

"If you are a girl who is shaving facial hair, you may be worried that shaving it off may make it worse. Of importance (if you are a girl) is to check with your doctor to make sure your facial hair is not excessive. If your hair is excessive (called “hirsutism”) your doctor will want to find out why. Sometimes this condition is associated with irregular menstrual periods."

Just remember, no amount of hair would be able to hide a sincere, kind person.

It is common in most women not all. Depends on hair color or skin color. The only way to remove all hairs is to get this laser procedure. There are products in stores to remove facial hair. Like Nair and aveeno facial remover. my friend used it and the results were amazing. the prices aren't that expensive. most Under $10 or $15 dollars.

Facial hair is due to genetics. She could try a depilatory cream to remove the facial hair or if it truly bothersome she could spend the money and get electrolysis or laser hair removal. But if its not noticeable then let well enough alone.

This is totally common. I mean, come on, if you believe in evolution...look where we came from! It's a wonder the hair on our faces is so faint! lol but yes, if she's still really selfconscious, she can get her lip/chin waxed use bleach...there are lots of options. I suggest wax because it lasts longest (if she needs the hairs GONE).

all normal. You can get it waxed, but regardless it will come back and eventually she will have wiskers like a man from it. Better to leave it alone. If you even pluck one, it will keep coming back thicker and thicker. Did that to the side of my face, and the same stupid hair keeps popping back up. Laser treatment may remove permanently.

Everyone is supposed to have those really small hairs above and under their lips. She really shouldn't feel uncomfortable about this. A lot of girls have some more visible than others.

It's normal, and don't think about it too much.

Much worse, DON'T DO ANYTHING TO IT! IF YOU SHAVE IT IT WILL JUST COME BACK TO HAUNT YOU, ONLY MORE THICKER AND LONGER!

Don't wax it. Don't do anything to it. Just leave it be.

Don't regret what I did to my legs.
