An assistive technology lab. Where I assist people with disabilities to learn special strategies for accessing and using computers to communicate or do whatever they want to do. For example, I'm using speech recognition software to write this. It allows me to type simply by talking into a microphone. I have also worked in hospitals as a volunteer. I have a degree in biology.

It's not really volunteer, yet it is. I recently signed up for the mysoldier program (www.mysoldier.com). You sign up an they send you the name and address of a soldier fighting overseas. All you have to do is send them letters and if you want, you can send care packages. I think it's really neat. Think of all them men and women over there fighting for our country who would enjoy to hear from someone here at home.

I raise Money for a YMCA that is dedicated to Youth Development. There is no work out equipment, gym, or pool. Instead there is a School for High School Dropouts. a Youth Employment Unit, Youth Camping, Youth Earth Corps etc.

local xmas gifts for kids that wouldn't have a xmas. i work with the church every year doing that. then we cook meals on holidays and i help then. i clean the church on Thursdays.
