ok, why is it that guys only date girls for their bodies, and not for their personality. usually in the ages of 13-17.

I guess because guys are just starting to go through puberty, so they have all these new "feelings", many of them referring to the need for sexual intercourse. Thus, many of them tend to lean towards the girls with the big racks or lack of clothes. Also, between 13 and 17, people who date don't really connect emotionally probably because the brain hasn't matured enough yet and has never experienced what it's going through. So instead of emtional connection, there's a physical connection.

Thats F*cking wrong. I date girls for their personality more than their body. While their bodies are assets to the relationship, I enjoy being able to hang out with someone that is plain, and not really hot, because being too attractive distracts me from the things I like to do most. A beautiful girl can be very overrated because of this. If I can't connect with a girl, what's the point of getting into a relationship with her, except for the physical part of a relationship? You can have a girlfriend that isn't overly attractive, that has a great personality, without ever having a problem. Many hot girls are only in relationships for the social factor, or reputaion. Because when you are between the ages of 13-17, U aren't, (or shouldn't), be looking for your life long partner. While U R a teenager U should just be having fun and figuring out what kind of a person U will be wanting to spend the rest of your life with. Once they start dating, their personalities just kinda come out. Guyz notice the personalities, but after the looks.

Well you narrowed it down to 13-17 year olds, but this is for all ages. However, in regards to your questions I think that during that age its the "self identity stage" and of course they dont wanna be excluded by dating the "ugly duckling" ...and of course their HORMONES!!!! Hormones have a lot to do with who the opposite sex finds more attractive...this goes for boys and girls...And back to the whole self identity...personality at that age aint really stable anyway...so whoever they "pretend" to be...is not who they will be..make sense? Sorry if i confused ya...

It's because they are still stupid, and it isn't limited to age 17. Lots of men find a much nicer woman to marry the second time around! But don't count on it: Some men never learn.

It is because guys at that level rarely do think beyond their hormones. They are dumped in very large quantities into their blood and it is near impossible to over come it.
It is only rarely and later that they learn that bodies age, but a mind only becomes better.

Because some men are shallow but they will learn later in life that beauty fades and then they're stuck with someone who's ugly and they can't even have an itelligent conversation with.

hell no. not 4 me.. sure a body is a plus(even though i will admit i would never date a girl thats off da scale) i want a girl wit a preaty face and a good personality. i dont want a super hott sllut cause shes hot. i wouldnt do dat.

cause they're immature and want to show off who they can be with to their friends. they're just looking for looks and not personalities. girls too, i went through that. on the other hand, when you get a bit older, people care about looks, but they care even more about personality and individuality which is more important.

We don't just date girls for their bodies... for me thats a + but i agree with that other guy i wouldn't date someone who is one of those people that you say... uhhhhhhhh, ehhhhhhhhhhh, hmmmmmmm uhhhhhhhh no.
Personally i like a girl that talks alot because i like to listen ;)
