BIOLOGICALLY, I heard once that early is best, because the eggs are still in their best condition when the woman is young. While teen pregnancy is detrimental to the mother because she's still growing herself, no one that I knew in highschool had defects or unhealthy babies (and there were a lot of them) unless they didn't take care of themselves. I would venture to say, that for the health of mother and baby, as soon as the mother stops growing is the best time for her to have a child. As the woman ages, her eggs become more deteriorated, and anything over 35 is considered at higher risk for defects and complications.

Early 20's.
By the way as an older woman who waited (probably too long mid 30's) to try and conceive I would advise women who are financially secure, mature and really want their own biological children) to do it earlier rather than later.

Basically they say around 22-25!!! But as you know we have teenage pregnancy that is prevalent in the U.S. and that is sad!!! Some doctors will say earlier..But you do need your college education to make it in this vicious world>>>>
