I can't stop shaking my head whenever I listen to that guy. He is such a twit. Yes, a twit.

When will CNN bring back its solid reporting and dump this trendy on MTV?

MSNBC got rid of that moron Ashleigh Banfield. Now she basically covers assignments on CourtTV, what a comedown!

Please CNN, if you're listening...fire Anderson Cooper. Reason? Being annoying!

Anderson Cooper is actually a good reporter, CNN just makes him do stupid stuff. He was really good on ABC.

I heard that part of his contact at CNN was that he couldn't admit publically to being gay.

I first saw Anderson Cooper on the daily, for-school news show Channel 1. I think he's a good reporter and a good guy. I've always have enjoyed his style and depth. And now he's on CNN which is the news channel I have always watched so you could probably say he's just stuck with me through the years.

Tom Brokaw and Walter Cronkite will always be the all-time classic news men. I believe Anderson Cooper will eventually fit and evolve into a classic like those two over the years.

Yes, I think Anderson Cooper is an idiot. An idiot savant, defined as a very stupid or ignorant person who is gifted in a particular way; gifted to give some people a square deal but not others and get away with it. Of course, among the news handling class he is only one among many of the same pack. The danger lies in his superficial dressy appearance. Looking smart and chivalrous he is anything but that, when he is only one more dog that runs to the end of his owner's chain and barks at everyone he politically dislikes. When off the leash he walks dully along within his own discontent hoping for an admiring pat.

I have to disagree. I find Anderson Cooper as one of the few news reporter that doesn't inject his personal views or biasness into his work. He is a hard working news reporter, always there 15 minutes later whenever something major happens.

You base your dislike because he is a twit? (whatever that means) Maybe you just hate him because he is good looking.

Anderson Cooper is very intelligent and talented; CNN controls over his character on television. The only reason why I watch CNN is because I love seeing Anderson Cooper; he is so cute and hot!!!

Actually I disagree with your opinion. That's ok isn't it? I was so impressed with his coverage during Hurricane Katrina. I didn't see anyone else right in the thick of things. He could barely stand up during most of it.. Also.. as soon as the war in Lebanon started he was there immediately reporting on it. I think he has way more guts than I'll ever have. I guess for me he has a fresh approach to journalism which tv definitely needs.

YES!!! After Katrina he said he was never going to leave New Orleans til after the clean up. He, of course, lied. He's a Geraldo Rivera knockoff.

But you do need to back off of Ashleigh Banfield. If she just did the news topless as I kept suggesting to the MSNBS excecutives her ratings would be off the charts!

Amen. Him and Wolf Blitzer. They both report as the wind blows. CNN needs 24 hour Lou Dobbs!

Anderson Cooper is the best reporter out there in my opinion.

I saw him compete on Jeopardy and he seemed like a real idiot. He continually couldn t come up with the most obvious correct responses and was repeatedly unable even to make guesses even when gently coaxed and prompted by Alex Trebek.
