As men get older impotence or loss of erections becomes more common. A lot of it is as simple as needed more physical stimulation. Unlike when they are younger, older men cannot get good erections just by seeing or thinking about something sexual. They need physical contact, either by hand or mouth. It is also normal for the ligaments to wear down and cause the erection to point downward as opposed to up. Medication can effect erections, the only way to know this for certain is to ask a doctor, Also a visit to a urologist can be benifical. A change in sexual pattern can also be a good idea. For most men they can get a better erection in the morning than at night.
