I think they should definitely get counseling. Look at it this way, states make you wait a certain amount of time for a divorce to let the couple make sure that it's the right thing, so in my opinion states should have a waiting period for marriage to let the couple make sure it's the right thing. Most states don't, the most I have seen is waiting on blood tests or paying less for a marriage license if the couple had counseling. Marriage is a huge commitment that is not taken very serious anymore and should definitely be walked into with all the facts about each other and about marriage.

Yes they sholuld I also think that it's needed when you're married to because that's when a lot of problems occur also.I think couples should to to counseling a t once a month

yes-u should have a budget, discuss financial and career goals, children-if any, how many-how to raise hem, religious issues-so many things that become more important when married than dating-i'm twice divorced-this won't guarantee things because i did have some pre-marriage joint counseling but it will help.

It depends on if they are having problems to begin with. if they are having second doughts and they both think that one or the other is cheating on them. or if they are not really understanding in some situations.
