I live somewhere else. I've heard so much about Walmart. Other than a major store, what makes it popular?

Wal Mart is the world's largest retailer. In essense, they sell pretty much anything. They sell groceries as well as non-grocery products. They sell toys, household items, camping equipment, tools, clothing, linens, and much more. Because of their volume purchasing power they can offer products at very low costs. For this reason, sometimes local retailers go out of business when Wal Mart moves in.

They are a family conglomerate that have prostituted their founder, Sam Walton's ideals... They are huge, mega-wealthy and immoral. Treat their zillions of employees (in USA and China) bad, low wages,impossible to reach job benefits, etc, etc.. Have put US labor off the market, but they sell every thing at semi-low prices..........
They are another malaise that the US had embraced.!

Walmart is so popular because it is so convienent. It practically has everything you need under one roof instead of having to go store to store...plus it is cheap.

Greedy corporate white collar criminals that sell cheap junk, treat their employees like crap, put small businesses out of business, and generally ruin the neighborhood.

It has everything in one store. You can shop for groceries,clothes,electronics,fabrics,pets supplies and so on. And it is at a discounted price, I love Wallmart!

POPULAR! You have got to be joking. Anyone who shops there is insane. They have the worst clothes I have ever seen in my whole life. and stuff.You can definatwely tell why everything is so cheap

wal-mart went from just being a retail0store as to where they sold only cothes electronics and things like that to making it a super center where they sell everythng even food
