You can't change anyone..just accept it and enjoy him..there is nothing wrong with married couples having different interests.. so let him be a homebody or whatever he is and you go out and meet people have fun with your friends.. why don't you bring your friends home for get togethers sometimes so hubby can be included.. you could be spontanious in the bedroom, im sure he'd like that..he might like it enough to take on the lead sometimes ...LOL My bf of one yr is a bit like your hubby and im a bit like you,, i thought about ending it before it got too serious, because of those reasons but his other good parts certainly outweigh his lack of adventure... Can't have the perfect parnter you know..lol no two people are the same.. also have u ever taken an intersts in his interests??

Well when you went to the lot to pick him out you should have known what you was getting. Yet you still waisted 13 years trying to turn a Pinto into a Corvette. Why spend time changing the guy you picked when that time could be better spent LOVING him. If he hasn't changed that tells me hes still the same guy you fell in Love with So LOVE HIM.

13 years says He really loves you!
If he didn't, he would have left a long time ago.
He just doesn't know how to tell you he loves you.
A man has to learn "How to tell the wife that I love her". It takes a man to teach another man the beginning basics. Then after you can take on the role of assistance.
A man understands better coming from a mans point of view. Try a marriage conference sponsored by "Family Life".
Great conferences, Great Get Aways, and lots of fun.

I'm sorry to tell you, but if you married this man the way he is, he probably will not change. No person can control another persons feelings, I think you might look at yourself. Have done the changing? Be careful you might be looking for happiness in all the wrong places.

then you had better learn to live life without him remember you are a separate human being with needs and wants so learn to have fun and pursue your own hobbies you can still love a stick in the mud.

want to change your husband? Don't we all, honey, don't we all....... I heard once that you can't change others, you can only change yourself. You just need to change the way you think, or work something out with him so you can be yourself without harming the marriage.
