I think all they do is cause drama, backstab, ignore your feelings & you all the time(when they are mad @ you for some silly reason!), brings negativity to your life, and they don't last as long as they said they would. I know people change...but they change at the speed of light! That's why I don't bother making friends because at the end I always end up missing them and feel lonely while they don't feel the same! Yes, I am lonely....and a loser if you want to say so!

I am convinced that it takes 3 years to build a friendship (and it takes 5 years if you are 25 or older --because people become so phony once they've grown up!).
Maybe you think friends will appear by magic and there will be a halo about them. But life isn't a movie. Friendship doesn't begin with love at first sight. It is built slowly and patiently.
But such careful friendships do last. I have a few friendships that have lasted for decades -- and those long-term friendships are vital, in fact priceless.

yep some friends are like that you just haven't found a true friend. I have been lucky enough get good friends in my life at one point in time, and I have had friend that you described. It's ok to feel lonely after losing someone you thought was a friend I'm kind of going through the same thing. A friend and I fell out because of her and an ex getting a little to close he was my boyfriend at the time. I cut her off and two years later felt bad we made up and it seems like she keep doing things that make us fight. So I think the two of us are just better off doing lunch maybe once a year if that. I'm not going to give up on finding a good friend and I don't think you should either. I wouldn't say you're a loser either.

Just try this!!! Recite the story from a friend's angle about you!!! Do you find a lot of similarities there...like fighting, negativity, silly reasons, abrupt ends etc on your side also.????
A good friend will do all these small negatives but his mind always will be positive towards other friends!! Understand he also is your same age and whatever negatives you have , also will be there on your friends!!!
Probably your selection of friends is wrong, its all temporary!!! Find the good qualities in a person and make friendship if those qualities matches you!!!!!

Oh my gosh -- you must be in high school.
It is quite difficult to find friends who are truly in your corner while in high school -- mostly because of all those emotions and drama you just mentioned. Everyone is SO self focused and everyting is ME ME ME.
Don't give up on everyone, but try to find things to get involved in where you keep meeting other poeple and stay away from those who really bring you down.
Furthermore -- don't even think that most of those kids can meet your needs emotionally at this age and stage. YOu may be more mature and able to BE a friend, but most teens only care about themselves.
As you get older, you will find worthy friends. I hope you can also find things to do now to make yourself happy and not so lonely.

you know i have been in the very same siuation you were in. all my friends was an ***, and they backstab you and stuff. But i learned that if you dont have friends you dont have a real life because it would be incomplete without them to help you share all of those friendship memorys with. you would feel all alone. You Should adress the problem with them then they will change. But if the dont then you have to get new friends untill you find the right ones.
Best to you

Yes, there is so much drama......especially with teenagers.
I learned that the older I got, the less friends I had.
Hang in there and you will find a good friend.
Yeah they can disappoint us and fail us. But, they are human just like we are. Eventually you will find a great friend and don't let them go.
My dearest friend is on east coast and I am on west coast

You're not a loser- teenage life can suck...the good part is that it does not last forever...hang out with guys- there's less drama.
