Phony friendliness, the open and delighted smile of a flight attendant or salesman trying to get you to buy something.
If you are not good at an immediate smile (toward a stranger!) that appears sincere, you have a terrible handicap and better stay in school until you have a lot of education!
The phony friendliness is important in dating and relationships, too. Lack it and you absolutely must learn to accept loneliness without appearing to pout.

Since every person has a soul, and every soul has the God given right to know his Creator's creation in its own way, i think that every soul would have a different answer.
What's the deal with America? Are you concerned with Geography, Culture or what?
