I love Palmer's Cocoa butter Formula I began using it after the birth of my son for stretch marks and found out it is an excellent tanning lotion. I bought some at the beginning of the summer and have the best tan ever won't protect you against skin cancer tho. You can buy it at walmart for around$5.00.

Depending on how dry your skin is and what type of condition you are trying to deal with...
Here are a few examples that the dermatologists I work for give to their patients.

Very dry, cracked skin - Hydrated petroleum jelly, you have to ask for it from the pharmacist. It is very thick, comes in a small tub.

Bumpy pimply type dry skin, like on the back of arms - Am-LACTIN, generic for Lac-HYDRIN, ask pharmacist as well. Works well for very dry feet too.

General moisturizing for dry to normal skin - Eucerin or Cetaphil.

And one that would be used multiple times per day, upwards of 20 times or more if you were trying to cure a dry skin condition - Lubriderm Advanced Therapy.

P.S. All can be found at Wal-Mart and Wal-Mart Pharmacy. Good luck.

I have tried them all, every price range, Johnson & Johnson Baby Lotion in the pink bottle works the best and is cheap...I'm addicted to lotions, I wouldn't try anything else but the baby smell gets a little old.
