I will use an old answer here... but it's a similar question... and I don't feel like typing it all again...

"These are in my opinion...

good:
Afghanistan invasion
homeland security program
handling Israeli situation
some tax cuts to the middle class
John Roberts

bad:
hiring brownie
hiring bolton
believing/pushing the WMD intelligence
CIA Leak (probably had some knowledge)
CAFTA
Support of NAFTA
China
tons of tax cuts geared to the wealthy
No Child Left Behind
Ports
Harriet Meyers
saying he didn't "care" where Osama was (really bad)
warrant less wiretapping
monitoring financial transactions
no progress on immigration
no progress on abortion
tax cuts/grants to big oil companies at a time of record profits
handling of iraq reconstruction

meh (ok, but could be better):
Prescription drug program for seniors
Alito

this is all I could think of for now..."

I DIDN'T THINK I WAS BITTER... JUST STATING THE FACTS?

He has done one good thing: He has proven that there is hope for those who are mentally challenged and that they too can rise to the top political office in the land. He has shown that you can be an idiot, moron, functional illiterate, clown, and a total and complete fool and rule the country, albeit very poorly. With an IQ of about 96, he should be a shining example to everyone with a mental deficiency that if you let someone like DIck Cheney pull the strings and make all the decisions for you, you too can become president.

The main item w/ merit he has accomplished is not dying in office to give Cheney complete control. That is a good thing. The election issues esp. w/ his brother being Governor in Florida, the wiretaps and abuse of our freedoms under this guise of "Patriotism" makes the old FBI under Hoover seem like a monthly book club. There are some good ideas he "talked" about but our zero deficiet and tax savings are gone to fund an unnecessary that had nothing to do w/ our security. If we stayed out of the Middle East and used the oil we have off-shore or is sitting in Antarctica, where we have not signed any treaty to prohibit taking it, terrorists wouldn't be attacking us anyhow. Sorry, but any involvement in the Middle East is not in our best interests, even to protect Israel.

The national ocean-park reserve thing.
He picked one good judge for the Supreme court.

When he attacked Afghanistan, right after 9/11, I was with him - I wanted to kill somebody then too. Then I got my emotions under control, but he couldnt just go after bin laden(remember him?), he had to go into Iraq.

Some people might say "tax cuts" but I say that is an asinine thing he has done, in the middle of a war. With the spending on the war so much, that your children will be paying for it.

Sorry - I try to find the good in everyone and every situation, but I can't think of one thing that he has done (except invade Afghanistan and defeat the Taliban there) that I can say is good.

I am upset about what he has done with education, the judges he has gotten appointed, his stem cell research and abortion views, his energy or ecology plans, his distortion of science data - to say nothing of how upset I am about his foreign policies and tax cuts. Even his stand on the Death Penalty - after being called by several religious leaders who asked him to stop.

Sorry - I really tried. Peace!

Everything he's done that made him look really bad was fairly productive in that it made him less popular. The whole thing with lying about having been warned about that hurricane was great (not the part where he didn't do anything, just the part where he lied), and the wiretapping thing wasn't so bad either, and now vetoing a popular bill. Everything he does to make himself and the republican party look bad is fairly productive.

Bush has done nothing moderately and has only done things on the right-wing's far edge. And I now realize that his "compassionate conservative" platform was just to try to make conservatives appear more middle-of-the-road.

Years later, we may actually find out more information about the horrible things Bush did to his opponents with regards to the illegal NSA wiretaps, similar to what Nixon did.

well, since he's Cheney's pet chimp, shouldn't you ask them if Cheney has done anything that is ok?

Lets see....I'm no Deomcrat, but I'll try anyway. Anything the "bush" administration has done that is ok....well, they admitied the whole "clinton's staff trashed the white house" rumor (as seen only on Fox "News") was false, so that's one.... it got chimpy away from damaging Texas even more, so that's two......

Dubya has done great damage to the country, his party and his integrity. There is no good in the man. The road to hell is paved with good intentions. He is out of touch.
