One of my friend says, she has two great friends and they care for her like anything. she likes both of them. Both are equally good. now the question in my mind is..can one have love for two people?

Sure, you can love two people (or more) in the similar ways but not usually at the same time. Falling "in love" is something special and unique. If it could happen with two people simultaneously, it would not be unique. Some people have a difficult time with knowing the difference between loving someone and being in love with someone.
But you usually cannot love any two people the same way, even if they are your parents or your children. No two people have the same qualities or characteristics. If anyone can love two people the same way, they are not fully appreciating the uniqueness of the individual.

No...she could like the two people but she could only love one.
Ask her...If she would have to live with on on an Island forever...whom would she choose?
Or if she could only save one from drowning...which one?
There is a preference....dig deeper to find hers.

sure. One person you may be in love with and the other one you just love. Major difference there. But it's possible.....I don't recommend it.
