Hate and passion often create similar physical reactions in a person: basic fight-or-flight responses.
So when your heart starts beating fast and your palms get sweaty because the persons grating on your nerves, sometimes that can subconsciously translate into a passionate reaction. But that's different from love.

Another option, sometimes people can't deal with their real feelings. Sometimes there's attraction, but the person doesn't want to be attracted, so they (subconsiously) decide they dislike the person instead. In this case, love (or at least attraction) was always there in some way, shape or form. It's kinda like how little kids pick on each other when they like each other.

I'm guessing your question is, "Is it possible to fall in love with a guy you hate?" And my answer to that is yes. Love and hate are extremely similar and close emotions. So while they're on entirely different sides of the scale...one is friendly and the other is not...they're not as far as they seem.

Not a binding love... perhaps a blinding lust. But you know, pick one and act on it. There's no harm in a good roll in the hay with a bad boy... just don't expect to change him to be "daddy".
