This is not a "real quick" kind of a deal. You have to know the cause of the ulcers- is it pressure, venous stasis, arterial insufficiency, or something else. Whatever the cause will determine the treatment. If you have circulatory problems, you might need surgery to improve the circulation. If you have chronic venous stasis, you might need Unna boots. You really need to see your doctor!!!

A lot depends on whether they are venous stasis ulcers, arterial ulcers or something else. You need to be examined by your physician, and he will most certainly tell you extremely good personal hygeine is a must. Shower daily and use antibacterial soap. If you have diabetes, it is very important to keep your blood glucose controlled. Eat a diet with fresh fruits and vegtables, whole grains and protien. Vitamin C and Zink are a excellent supplement to take for wound healing. Keep your legs out of a dependent position. Do not smoke.
Sometimes dressings are used for stasis ulcers depending on the size and the cause of the wound.
Your question is so vague. If you can be more specific and describe the ulcers, it would be helpful.

Melaleuca oil (Tea Tree) will keep them from getting infected and help speed healing.
