I got a mosquito bite on my forehead, and I'm going out tomorrow night so i need it to go away! It's not the itching that bothers me, it just looks ugly. Is there any way for me to make it go away quickly and easily?

My mosquito bites don't go away quickly. I'm extremely allergic to them so my bites usually stay 3-7 days.

Ammonia or rubbing alcohol will stop the itching and draw out the "poison."

I grew up on a hippie farm commune in the mid-late 1970s, and what we learned was that the poison (it's actually something more like mosquito spit and backwash) can be effectively destroyed by placing a hot (and I do mean a wet, hot) cloth over effected area for a second or two--bascially, about as long as you can stand it. What this does is that it opens the infected pores and allows some of the steam energy to break down the proteins in the poison trapped inside; it is this irritant which perpetuates the red, itchy, swelling on your forehead. Once you zap it, the side effects will disappear quickly.

when i get a mosquito bite, i put toothpaste to stop the itching. the toothpaste also reduces the size of the bite to a little bump. put some cover up on the bump, and you'll be fine.

Relax, Romeo: mosquito bites fade with time. Fortunately, it'll be gone by time you go out tomorrow.

Pimples....well now: that's a whole different ball game. Facial scrub creams/soaps can help there.
