Let me interpret the dream
Auditorium = performance place, confidence boost up
Lion and Dogs = High authority
Desert = Open place like work area
ran and jumped = escape from reality
Being chased = being criticized
In your dream, you basically tell me that you are a person who likes to be respected with your talents and your ability. However, all you received is criticism and disrespect. (Lion's roar, dogs' barking) Could it be your boss or co-workers or family?
You projected yourself back in School auditorium because you want to be know and you want confidence to be boosted. You are being chased and you can't confront with those dogs and lion because they are high authority. The only way to do it is to run and jump away from them. Subconsciously you need someone to agree with you and approve your talent and ability. In life, you may not get it. You stressed out and that is why you projected all those images in your dream.
I could be wrong, but this is how I see from your dream

We often work through our fears we deal with in our daily lives in our dreams... maybe you are feeling a lot of pressure in your life, and are trying to figure out a way to deal with the pressure. Maybe thats why these animals are chasing you, and you feel like you have to go hide... maybe the dreams are helping you to realize that you need to 'face your fears'... thus the reason you were looking at the lion through the window... ??

This reminds me of after I graduated high school and had to go out into the world and work for a living. It seems that maybe you are in a similar situation. You want to be brave and face the cruel world, but you still have a bit of fear of that wild place. Take control of your dream before you fall asleep. Make a conscious mental plan of taking control of your dream, knowing that it is only a dream and you can control the outcome. You can also take control of your life and future. Good luck.

Actually no we can't. And whomever says they can is just plain wrong. They'll spout off some pop psychology stuff as in this means that, and this represents that.....But only a psychologist can determine what your dreams 'mean' And that's only after a good number of sessions, and dream logs.
sorry

Your dreams are trying to tell you that you're not ready to let reality in. You're looking for an escape place. Maybe you have too many pressures at your job and too many bills to pay and your dreams are trying to tell you that you're worrying about it or something else too much and need a vacation.

I always thought that when you dream of school, that means you are supposed to learn something that you haven't understood yet or are ignoring. Try controlling the dream next time and see what happens.
