I am more agnostic, but leaning towards atheism.
I personally don't know if there is a magic sky jesus up in the clouds, I don't think there is, but I admit that I could be wrong.
I try to be a good person as much as possible, but I don't do so hoping for some reward at the end of my life. As I go thru my life, I have explored a few facets of faith to see what if anything feels right for me, I think the bible is a good book, but I don't think you should base every opinion in your entire life on the writings of priests over a thousand years ago, but overall, there are some good lessons to be learned. I also don't know which brand of god is the best, I mean, Islam, Christianity and Judaism all came from the same seed, all have the garden of eden and Adam and Eve.
If things work out, early next year, I will be over in Japan, and I intend to explore and learn about both Shinto and Buddhism, see what I can learn from those faiths to make me a better person, and keep an open mind.
I just get tired of people trying to shove thier views down my throat or trying to make laws based on thier faith and screw everyone else. Live and let live.

No atheists don't have superpowers. I have reviewed the powers listed and think there may be other powers that should be considered to be fully able to live this life to the fullest;
1. Do you have the power to understand and accept the concept that the use of the word "skydaddy" is so insulting and intentionally demeaning that it is difficult to believe that you truely want an honest and sincere dialogue concerning this issue?
2. Do you have the power to comprehend that we all have different ways of dealing with death, that we all face death alone and that some people's intellect, as well as their feelings, lead them to a different conclusion than you have reached and that that conclusion is not anywhere near as important than how we live our life in the here and now?
3. Do you have the power to understand that believing in one's self to get through difficulties does not preclude a belief in the existence of God or that a persons's faith in the existence in God, or relience thereon, does not preclude self reliance, independence and faith in oneself in surviving the difficult times?
4. Do you have the power to admit that good people everywhere do good because they want to, because they have character, because the have honor or because they just know in their heart what the right thing to do is and they do it without expecting a reward and this includes all those who have faith in God?
5. Do you have the power to re-read answer no. 4 and see that people all over the world, including people who are believers, many times act unselfishly and courageously without first thinking that they better do good or they will go to hell?..
6. Do you have the power to know and understand the difference between myth and fairytales and to stop using incindiary language like "fairytales" to discus the the views of believers that have intellectual origins in the nature of man i.e., his ability to think and to be self conscious as well as to be aware of others, and his effect on others and to treat the beliefs of others with respect as you would wish others to treat yours?.
7. Do you have the power to disagree with the majority without using insulting and incindiary language and to enter into a discussion with respect for the people to whom you are speaking?
8. Do you have the power to deal with reality without what seems to be some sort of obsessive compulsive need to label other beliefs in demeaning tones and words such as ''imaginary"?
9. Do you have the power to understand that all love is, in fact, imaginary and that we all need love?
10. Do you have the power to love those millions who hate and fear you all over the world?

In other words, you all have the power to insult other people.
I am pretty sure that every 2nd grader on the planet can do that. But the ability to do it as an adult IS pretty impressive.
But isn't a super power supposed to be used for good and not evil? And if you prefer to use it for evil, shouldn't you keep that kind of thing a secret so other people don't beat you up? I mean, I don't see any super strength in that list.

Your question was so well worded and so elegantly rhetorical that I don't have even one stupid, rude, sarcastic, or silly comment. That's amazing.
Wait a minute, some of us have the super power of flatulence but that may be shared by other true believers.
You should earn ten points for framing the question and follow up so well.

Not super power's per se, rather the right to believe in what ever you or anyone else decides to believe in. You may think that the bible and Jesus, God is a fairy tale, but you may see one day.

Love it! To some it might seem like super powers, but we know we just have more common sense. Add #11. We don't need "skydaddy" to take away our guilt. Lot of guilty people in those churches...

BUT-
Do you have the faith to trust that awareness extends endlessly, since there is NO time?
DO you have the courage to seek the multi-dimensional TRUTH that there is more to life than just the human plane of existence, and that there IS proof?
Read David Icke for more awareness...

maybe you are strong enough to deal with all of that on your own, but I like having someone I know will always be there when I need a shoulder to lean on. people are people, even if they dont believe in god, they defently dont have super powers
