oh, oh! The 80's songs from Whitney Houston such as that song that goes "I believe the children are our future, teach them well and let them lead the way".
She starts singing almost low, but by the end of the song she is HIGH! and loud!

"Don't Cry for Me Argentina"(as performed by Sarah Brightman). Shows off range AND control. Beautiful, emotional, classic.

"At Last"--Etta James
If you have a big voice, and you can do it well, it could be interesting.

But, I think "Don't Cry for Me Argentina" is the better choice.

"99 Ways to Die" by Megadeth. that's the answer to everything.

just kidding. try "In a Dream" by Badlands. amazing lyrics and it's mostly vox, with little instrumentation (i think is the word?)

Stormy weather (Billie Holliday version)

Very few women can do low tones and make them sound good. If you can pull that one off, they'll be impresed. Its hard.

Try "Bohiemian Rhapsody" by Queen,

that one pretty much covers ALL the bases.

"Galileo, Galieo,Galileo, Galieo, Galileo Figaro--Magnifico-o-o-o..."
