Why do people want things for free, but are not willing to work for it? I am not talking about welfare...I am talking about private schools, away camps, sports programs, etc.

Because we prefer to work for our needs and acquire our wants easier.

For example, I work all day to feed my stupid kids. They deserve to be smart though, I mean, they're alive and eating, right? So why can't I make them smart by sending them to a private school? I work hard! I got them fed, didn't I?

Gets my goat, too! I have never found a free lunch. My generation, of the fifties, we were taught to WORK for what we get!

If you have to work for it, then it's not really "free", is it?
