Have never had to repair an item like this before. Am not sure where it is located on the car. Please help if you can.

The oil pressure sending unit is mounted on the top of the engine block, just to the left of the distributor. If you remove the air cleaner, it's very easy to access. However you do need a special socket to remove and install the sending unit (switch). It's a 1- 1/16" socket, but has "rounded" corners. If you decide to do it yourself, be careful not to over-tighten the new one, they are somewhat delicate and can break if overtightened! BTW, there is no way to repair it, just replace it! HTH!!

It's Easy Get One At The Parts House Find Old One On Block Take Old One Out Put New One In,They Are Threaded And Have A Plug On The Top,About As Simple As It Gets,IM Me If You Need To NP

Don't repair the unit, just buy another one. Refer to the service manual. You should be able to find this at your local library in the reference section.
