So, I just finished my freshman year, and I spent most of it in heels and designer jeans and no one really cared. The week I had to spend in t-shirts with no makeup for my sorority initiation is the only week where my friends could tell you what I wore. They know that you are a freshman when you dress up for class. Wear polos, jeans, pearls, and Sperrys-- in the winter grab your Northface. That is the cute/comfort look at my school. DO dress up for parties because everyone will notice. Good Luck!

Ah.. a freshman! People only care for the first few weeks, after that I've seen that anything goes (both in my college days in CA and here in Austin, TX where we are home to many universities including the largest campus in the states - UT). I've seen girls wearing jammies to class!
I'd wear your favorite jeans and a shirt. If you have the body for it, the shirt can be tight and hug your pecs, otherwise go loose and comfy. What you wear to a party or out on the town matters more. Check out college mags for some ideas or better yet, do a little shopping with your sisters or some gal pals. Girls love to take dudes shopping!

there's lots of things u can do. if u want a more casual look, then wear ur favorite jeans or shorts..whichever u wanna wear (obviously they're gonna be comfy) and most any kind of shirt. like, u can just wear a t-shirt. that looks good. and if u wanna dress it up a lil, u can wear a button up shirt with it, not necessarily wear just that, u can always wear a black, navy, white, gray, etc. t-shirt underneath it so u can unbutton the shirt or just take it off if u don't feel like wearing it. u can always wear somethin even more dressy if u feel like it, like pants that look nice, but aren't necessarily dress pants, but aren't jeans (if u get what i mean) and a nice shirt. anything u feel comfortable in is what u should wear. if ur comfortable, it'll show that u feel comfy and u'll look good.

Wear some brown cargo shorts and a t-shirt that says "I LOVE DOLLY PARTON" if it has an iron picture of her that would be really cool, top it off with some all white tennis shoes from Costco the ones with Velcro (no laces) you will be a chic magnet guaranteed!

Jeans with the holes ripped in them...Dont rip your own holes though! And a retro tee. Or like an abercrombie, hollister, shirt. And some sexy brown flip flops. Just make sure you moisturize your feet and your toes dont look nasty. It is laid back, cool, and casual. Oh, and so sexy. Oh and get one of those bags that strap over the chest. MMmm!

a pair of great fitting jeans, a really cute t-shirt or sweater (no cartoon characters), and good boots. when it gets cold a leather or corduary jacket.
