Shelves can save you...for books, for knick-knacks, whatever. Also, buy some of those shoe hangers that go on your door. Get creative. Almost anything small can fit in there! Get some big containers, or roll-away drawers that can go under your bed, or if they are clear, you can stack them in your closet. Thumb tacks, or nails, can be used to hang scarfs and hats. Flip on the TV to one of those orginazations shows on HGTV...they have fun ideas!

if your the pack rat type, it will build up. closet made has all kinds of shelving units to help store things and you can take a closet that falls out and reduce it to a third. buy those vacuum bags at walmart that you can put alot in that you use once a year and it sucks the air out and you can store more. use stackable designer tubs to put important papers and other things in marking them. once you get this all done. you can clean any room in minutes instead of a hour. put your dirty clothes if you have a washing machine in them until it gets to a full load then wash them.

first make a list, then you wont be wasting time trying to think of all the things you need to do, then i would recommend buying some plastic tubs, they hold a lot and they are stackable, they come in a lot of colors and sizes. after you've cleaned your room, spend five minutes a day tidying up, that way your room will always be somewhat clean, i know its hard to keep it spotless all the time, but it doesnt have to get super messy before you clean it up again. good luck

Grab all the things that are loose (papers, portraits, random things, etc) and just make straight piles, starting at the bottom with the bigger things, then papers, and then try to place random objects left on top of the pile without them falling off. You'll figure out what you'll do with all that pile later. Hope that helped.

Have to stop being a pack rat. If you have'nt used something for a year get rid of it. Inthe meantime out your things away after you use them. Don't just pitch them on the bedm in a chair ,on a desk or the floor.

Put it in plastic garbage bags and stuff them under your bed. Take clothes that you're not going to wear soon and put them flat between the mattress and bed springs. Hope that helps some!

It seems to me the only thing that you can do is make nice neat orderly piles or get shelves to store things on they also have storage bins that slide under the bed that help you organize your things.

very carefully. Also establish a rule to organize. Anything not used in one year is thrown out or donated.

make your bed and make sure the floor is clear ...stack papers and books...gives a false illusion of organization
